Sonia Valdivielso Mijangos
Description
Sonia Valdivielso graduated as geologist from University of Salamanca in 2011. Then, she worked as a hydrogeologist in water resource consulting in Chile from 2012 until 2017. In 2018, she obtained a postgraduate degree in hydrogeology from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. She holded a PhD in Earth Sciences with an Excellent - Cum Laude from the University of Barcelona in 2022.
Her research focuses on chemical and isotopic analysis, and modelling precipitation, groundwater, and surface water in the Central Andes for a sustainable management of water resources.
