Claudia Sanz Lanzas

PhD student currently developing her thesis entitled ´Integration of multi-omic studies in Ecotoxicology: A non-prioristic approach to Endocrine Disruption” at the Institute of Environmental Assessment and Water Research (IDAEA-CSIC). Enrolled the environmental toxicology department (Dr. Benjamí Piña´s laboratory) in 2018. Oceanographer (Universidad Católica de Valencia (UCV); 2012-2016) with a Master in Environmental Toxicology (Universitat de València (UV); 2016-2017). Along her academic years she has accumulated a deep insight within the topic of Contaminants of Emerging Concern (CECs) and the wide range of analytical challenges in identifying, quantifying and reporting them, thanks to her different research experiences. Currently, she is expanding her knowledge in ecotoxicogenomics, focusing her efforts on identifying potential gene expression alterations (by quantitative PCR) in different matrices such as zebrafish embryos (Danio rerio), soil and crops caused by CECs and other exogenous compounds present in wastewaters and different types of amendments.
