Clara Jaén Fló

Description

Clara obtained her University degree in Chemistry at University of Barcelona (UB). Afterwards her interests in the atmosphere lead her to acquire a master’s degree in Meteorology (UB). During the master studies she had the opportunity to collaborate with the Mesoscale and microscale atmospheric modelling and research (MAiR) group of the Department of applied Physics (UB) and she published her firsts works in the air quality field.

Currently she is working on her Phd project at IDAEA with a Training of University Teachers (FPU) grant from the Ministry of Science and Innovation (Spain). The aim of the project is to study the changes in the composition of organic pollutants in atmospheric particulate matter and the meteorological conditions which affect the high pollution episodes, mostly those related with temperature inversions.
