Description
I performed my Bachelor's degree in Chemistry at the University of Valladolid (UVa) between 2017 and 2021. During this period, I completed a six-month internship at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim, Norway. I was involved in several projects related to the analysis of emerging pollutants in environmental matrices, primarily working with UHPLC-MS/MS. Following my Bachelor's degree, I pursued a Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry at the University of Barcelona (UB).
Currently, I am working at CSIC-IDAEA under a La Caixa INPhINIT Retaining Fellowship. Our focus is on developing new analytical methods to detect emerging organic pollutants in the environment and assess human exposure. Personally, I am particularly interested in understanding how chemical exposure relates to adverse health outcomes. We employ state-of-the-art HRMS and non-target approaches.
