The Institute of Environmental Assessment and Water Research (IDAEA-CSIC) offers 1 PhD for 3 years for the GEoREST group project for developing predictive models of induced seismicity as a result of fluid injection/extraction related to low-carbon geo-energies.
Candidates must hold a MSc, preferably in Engineering, Mathematics or Physics, and should have knowledge on Big Data analysis, machine learning and programming, as well as on geomechanics and/or geotechnicak engineering, hydrogeology and seismology.
