Prof. Joan Grimalt, researcher from the Geochemistry and Pollution group has participated in a report about the transmission of SARS-Cov-2, which causes the COVID-19 disease, in spaces for bathing and other aquatic activities (swimming pools, beaches, rivers, etc).
Although, SARS-CoV-2 infection by contact with water from standard bath conditions is highly unlikely, the document provides some recommendations related to disinfection and social distancing measures recommended in these spaces.
