The collaborative project of MAGO (Mediterranean wAter management solutions for a sustainable aGriculture supplied by an Online collaborative platform), led by the researcher Miren López de Alda, will develop innovative solutions for an integrated management of water resources for a sustainable agriculture. Countries like Tunisia, France, Spain and Libano will test these solutions, which will promote the efficiency of water use in agriculture, the use of alternative water resources and adaptation to climate change.

This project is coordinated by Cetaqua and has a consortium of ten partners: Aigües de Barcelona, CSIC and Metropolitan Area of Barcelona (AMB) de España, INRAE and LISODE of France, University of Thessalia (UTH) of Greece, INRGREF and Ezzayra Solutions (EZZAYRA) of Tunisia, American University of Beirut (AUB) of Libano, and Meta Anatolia of Turkey. The CSIC team is responsible for the evaluation of emerging pollutants and the analysis of risks associated with the reuse of wastewater in agriculture.
