Twenty-two researchers from the Institute of Environmental Assessment and Water Research (IDAEA-CSIC) have been included in the 2025 Ranking of Spanish Women Researchers and Researchers in Spain, which lists the 10,000 Google Scholar profiles with the highest metric indicators (h-index and citations) and an assigned ORCID identifier. This ranking recognizes both Spanish researchers working in national or international institutions and foreign researchers affiliated with Spanish institutions.
The ranking, compiled by the Cybermetrics Lab of the Institute for Public Goods and Policies (IPP-CSIC) with the support of the Unit of Scientific Information Resources for Research (URICI-CSIC), aims to highlight the work of women researchers through a publicly accessible and free platform. Furthermore, this initiative aligns with the Spanish National Research Council’s (CSIC) commitment to gender equality and open science promotion.
