Alejandra Cruz Bolaños

Description

Alejandra Cruz is an environmental engineer with an Erasmus Mundus joint master’s degree in water science engineering, specializing in groundwater and global change (IST Lisbon, TU Dresden, UNESCO IHE Delft, 2022). She has experience in a wide spectrum of environmental challenges and is currently working on a research project investigating the intricate fate of water contaminants in engineered drainage systems. The objective of her research is to improve the quantity and quality of local water supplies and foster climate-resilient cities. Her interests encompass urban hydrogeology, water quality and treatment, and urban climate resilience.
