Anna Marizzi del Olmo
Description
Anna graduated in Pharmacy in 2020 at the University Complutense of Madrid focusing her master thesis on the 2nd watch list of CEC of the EU. Afterwards, from 2020-2022, she worked as a research assistant at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research in Leipzig in the department of Effect-directed Analysis and in the Environmental Immunology department.
Since April 2023, she is a PhD student at IDAEA-CISC working on the BIODAPH2O Project. Her work will focus on the removal of contaminants of emerging concern and antibiotic resistance genes from wastewater using a nature-based wastewater tertiary treatment. The impact on aquatic ecosystems and agriculture will also be monitored.
