Daniel Rozúa Álvarez

Description

Daniel Rozúa studied a Degree in Chemistry (2018-2022) and a Master's Degree in Analytical Chemistry (2022-2023) in Universitat de Barcelona, specializing in chromatographic techniques coupled to mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS). For his final degree project, he studied the presence of non-desirable substances in feed by high-resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS) with direct analysis in real time (DART) Ambient ionization technique. He studied the presence perfluoroalkylated substances (PFAS) in wastewater for his master thesis and his university internship, acquiring ample experience in the use of high-performance liquid chromatography coupled to high-resolution mass spectrometry (HPLC-HRMS). He is currently doing a PhD thesis in the Institute of Environmental Development and Water Analysis (IDAEA-CSIC), with Dr. Ethel Eljarrat Esebag and Dr. Teresa Moreno Pérez, assessing the presence of toxic and undesirable substances in rubber materials used in playgrounds and sports facilities (2024-present day), financed by the National Project EDGE (PID2022-140801OB-I00).
