I am a postdoctoral scientist expert on environmental microbiology. I study the environmental microbiomes in terms of structure and diversity as well as on the analysis of their genetic profiles with reference to antimicrobial resistance (AMR). My research strives for increased knowledge about microbial processes under environmental or chemical stresses as well as about the application and combination of new-edge high-resolution techniques to quantify and trace the AMR diffusion and accumulation in diverse environmental and human matrices. The development of novel workflow of methods to set the bases for new strategy limit or prevent AMR dispersion in one of the major goal.
