Description

Marta Casado (h index = 10, 22 publications, 260 citations) is a High Scientific Officer of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) since 2008. She graduated in Chemistry in 1992 (Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, Spain) and obtained her master degree in Chemistry in 1994. She belongs to CSIC since 2004, where she entered as Intermediate Specialist technician. She is specialized in ecotoxicogenomics studies, more specifically in the evaluation of the biological activity of compounds and complex mixtures (field samples) through recombinant yeast cultures, as well in the analysis of gene expression alterations caused by these exogenous compounds or samples. In addition, she has been involved in metabolomics studies with zebrafish (Danio rerio), including the determination of lipids by UPLC-MS and of polar metabolites by Nuclear Magnetic Resonance.
