Description

I am a Ramón y Cajal Fellow specializing in environmental health, with a focus on integrating exposomics with innovative epidemiological models. My research emphasizes women’s and reproductive health, aiming to unravel the impact of complex chemical exposures on adverse health outcomes during pregnancy and later in life. I have extensive expertise in applying advanced mass spectrometry techniques in exposome-wide association studies to identify harmful exogenous chemical mixtures. I currently lead the INSULIN cohort study, based at Hospital Joan XXII, which investigates maternal-fetal health and environmental exposures.
