Description
Santiago is an Environmental Engineer with a master’s degree in Environmental Science. Currently, he is a PhD candidate in Engineering and Applied Sciences at the University of Barcelona working at the Institute of Environmental Assessment and Water Research (IDAEA-CSIC) in an interdisciplinary project focus on the: (i) application of an “Effect-Directed Analysis” methodology for prioritizing Contaminants of Emerging Concern drivers of adverse effect on human health in urban groundwater and (ii) identification/quantification of the hydrogeochemical processes that contribute to their natural attenuation in urban aquifers at field scale.
