Our service

Summary

The Mass Spectrometry – Special Techniques service comprises a large number of mass spectrometers coupled with gas and liquid chromatographs. It is dedicated to trace organic analysis in a wide range of samples, particularly environmental matrices and foodstuffs. These instruments provide powerful analytical capabilities for the analysis of both pure compounds and complex mixtures.

In GC-MS, volatile and semi-volatile compounds are analyzed. The service covers priority pollutants, such as pesticides, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), phthalates and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs), as well as emerging contaminants, including pharmaceuticals and bisphenols.

In LC-MS, non-volatile and polar compounds are analyzed. The service covers priority pollutants, such as pesticides, as well as emerging contaminants, including drugs of abuse, pharmaceuticals and biocides.
