Adapting to climate change requires a deep understanding of the risks it poses, including the factors that determine them, such as hazards, exposure, and vulnerabilities, and their effects on human, production, and natural systems. The EU-funded IRISCC project aims to enhance Europe’s resilience to climate change by providing integrated scientific and knowledge services. It will create a catalogue of services for both onsite and virtual access, developed in three phases. The project will support policymakers and researchers, contributing to climate reports and adaptation strategies. Additionally, IRISCC will train new scientists in data stewardship, ensuring that open data complies with FAIR principles and links to European initiatives such as EOSC.
This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 101131261.
