Summary

The main challenge of the group is offering chemometric tools to interpret information from analytical multidisciplinary problems. This implies performing a sound research into theoretical algorithm development, especially in the subarea of multivariate resolution methods. The fundamental research developed allows tailoring chemometric tools to handle information from areas as diverse as environmental –omics data (ERC AdG 320737), PAT and industry (HORIZON 2020 PROPAT), environmental and biochemical problems or interpretation of complex analytical signals (PN CTQ2015-66254), such as multidimensional chromatography, hyperspectral images or high resolution MS associated with chromatography and images. The group offers free consulting and services through the web: www.mcrals.info. The group has a strong international and national presence in graduate programs in Chemometrics and offers chemometric expertise and assessment to industries through transfer of knowledge actions.
