Summary

I am a geophysicist with a background in applied geophysics and a Master’s degree in Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. During my Master’s research, I used Sentinel-2 satellite imagery and in situ environmental data to investigate the effects of drought on high-mountain peatlands in the Catalan Pyrenees.

I am currently pursuing a PhD at IDAEA-CSIC, where my research focuses on integrating multi-source remote sensing and in situ observations to improve our understanding of the limnological dynamics of high-mountain lakes under global change. My research interests include inland-water remote sensing, limnology, ecohydrology, and environmental data analysis.
