Iria Sambruno holds a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Public Relations from Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM). She later completed a Master’s degree in Corporate Communication at the University of Amsterdam (UvA) in 2017 and a Master’s degree in Environmental Communication at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) in 2024.
She has built her professional career in communication across a range of national and international organizations, working in sectors including telecommunications, circular economy, branding and design, and environmental science.
Since June 2024, she has been working as Communication and Outreach Manager at the Institute of Environmental Assessment and Water Research (IDAEA-CSIC), where she is responsible for institutional communication, media relations, digital communication, scientific outreach, and public engagement activities.
