Franco holds a BSc in Geology by Universidad de La Plata (Argentina) and MSc in Subterranean Hydrology by Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). He is working as PhD candidate at the Institute of Enviromental Assesment and Water Research at the Spanish National Research Council (IDAEA-CSIC – Barcelona, Spain) and University of Barcelona. His research focusses on unsteady flow and transport modeling in heterogeneous porous media.
