Gender Equality Committee

Established in 2019, IDAEA’s Gender Equality Committee promotes awareness and strategic actions to guarantee equal access to resources and opportunities for all personnel.

The Committee actively works to foster a safe, inclusive, and equitable environment, preventing discrimination based on gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, background, or identity, and ensuring that diverse perspectives and needs are valued across the institute.

To achieve these goals, the Committee organizes annual awareness campaigns and initiatives around key dates, such as International Women’s Day, Pride, and the Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and actively represents IDAEA in CSIC’s equality networks.
