Summary

The Advance Mass Spectrometry Analysis. Orbitrap is an analytical service for trace-level analysis of pure substances and complex mixtures, mainly in environmental and food matrices, using liquid chromatography coupled with high-resolution and tandem mass spectrometry (LC-HRMS and LC-MS/MS).

The service comprises three instruments:

1. A triple-quadrupole analyzer (TSQ Quantum model) equipped with HPLC and online SPE systems for targeted analysis.

2. An Orbitrap analyzer (HCD-Exactive model) equipped with an HPLC system for the identification of unknown compounds and their transformation products through targeted and non-targeted analysis

3. A Tribrid analyzer (Q-Orbitrap-IT; Eclipse model) equipped with nano/micro-UPLC, online SPE and TurboFlow systems, which also enables single-cell and multi-omics analyses (metabolomics, lipidomics and proteomics).
