Gas Chromatography

Our service
Summary
The Gas Chromatography (GC) service was established in the 1980s to support CID users by providing qualitative and quantitative information on mixtures of volatile and semi-volatile compounds at trace levels.
The service currently has twelve gas chromatographs equipped with different detectors (FID, ECD, NPD, MS, pyrolyser and CVAFS). Most of them are equipped with automated systems for the introduction of liquid samples, either directly or by SPME, using split/splitless, on-column or PTV injectors.
