I am currently pursuing my PhD at the Institute of Environmental Assessment and Water Research (IDAEA-CSIC) as part of the ERC KARST project. My research focuses on physically based flow and transport modelling in karst aquifer systems, with an emphasis on how network heterogeneity controls flow and transport, and on upscaling processes from conduit to network and catchment scales. I hold Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Applied Geosciences from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), where I specialized in hydrogeology, geothermal energy, and engineering geology. My background includes groundwater and heat-transport modelling, geospatial data analysis, numerical methods, and scientific programming.
