Summary
The Integrated Environmental Characterization and Applied Chemometrics service offers advanced analytical solutions for the characterization and assessment of the environmental impact of contaminants. Its activities focus on the physicochemical, optical and biological characterization of environmental samples, with particular emphasis on: (a) the analysis of natural organic matter and anthropogenic organic contaminants in aquatic matrices; and (b) environmental ageing and photochemical degradation studies. These services are complemented by advanced data analysis using chemometric (multivariate) tools.
The service is available to IDAEA researchers, other CSIC institutes and units, universities, research centers, public administrations and private entities.
