Environmental Scientist with a Ph.D. in Analytical and Environmental Chemistry from the University of Barcelona (2025), developed at IDAEA-CSIC. Her research focuses on the sources, transformation, and fate of atmospheric pollutants, particularly volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and their role in ozone and secondary organic aerosol (SOA) formation. She has extensive experience in air sampling, chromatographic analysis (GC-MS, GC-MS/MS, HPLC, and LC-MS), and multivariate data analysis using R and MATLAB.
Her doctoral research investigated the vertical distribution and atmospheric processing of VOCs using innovative tethered-balloon sampling approaches. She is currently involved in the SEATRACE project, studying emerging contaminants and other marine pollutants in seawater through advanced analytical techniques, including LC-HRMS/MS and ion chromatography.
