I am a chemist with a strong interest in understanding how chemicals interact with and affect our environment. With a background in chemistry and environmental systems, I am currently pursuing my PhD in analytical chemistry and environmental science at CSIC IDAEA in the Expo-Hum group. My work combines analytical chemistry with environmental research, using techniques such as LC-MS/MS and high-resolution mass spectrometry to investigate chemical pollutants and their potential impact on our health. Throughout my studies and research experience, I have worked on a variety of topics, from chemical recycling and solvent circularity to the recovery of materials from photovoltaic modules and the investigation of chemical contaminants from consumer products. What I particularly enjoy about research is the combination of hands-on laboratory work, analytical problem-solving and the opportunity to contribute to a better understanding of environmental challenges.
