Exposome
This research line builds an integrated exposome pipeline, from exposure to mechanisms and population-scale surveillance, to understand how chemical and climate-related exposures affect human health and translate this evidence into prevention and environmental health policy.

It contributes to:
- Environmental Chemistry
- Toxicology and Environmental Impacts
We assess environmental exposures across the lifespan to understand their direct impact on human health, with a particular focus on how daily chemical stressors shape metabolic health. By tracking exposure routes like inhalation (thermal manikies), ingestion (simulating digestion), and dermal contact (silicones adapted to various human body fluids) through advanced simulation models, we actively identify harmful chemical mixtures and their links to adverse health outcomes.
We integrate broad epidemiological studies, especially for vulnerable groups like pregnant women and infants, with cutting-edge analytical chemistry and multi-omics to uncover the underlying biological mechanisms. Additionally, we analyze short- and long-term health risks from temperature and heat, utilize advanced organ-on-a-chip models to map tissue-level damage, and monitor community lifestyle habits and public health status through sewage-based epidemiology.
