I hold a Master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry and I am currently a PhD student in Analytical Chemistry and Environment at the Institute of Environmental Assessment and Water Research (IDAEA-CSIC).
My PhD focuses on assessing human exposure to chemicals of emerging concern through dermal contact with consumer products. This includes the design and evaluation of dermal contact experiments, complemented by the development and application of analytical methodologies to determine plastic additives such as phthalates, organophosphate esters and alternative plasticizers, among others. The aim is to better understand exposure pathways and their potential implications for human health.
