Natalia Bravo obtained a BSc in Chemistry (2008), an MSc in Advanced Chemistry (2010), and a PhD in Chemistry (2019) from the University of Barcelona (UB). In 2011, she joined the Institute of Environmental Assessment and Water Research (IDAEA-CSIC) as a technician through the JAE-TEC programme for graduate specialization. She subsequently pursued her PhD research at IDAEA-CSIC in the field of environmental contamination and human health, under the supervision of Prof. Joan O. Grimalt within the University of Barcelona doctoral programme.
She later worked as technical support staff at the Spanish Geological Survey (IGME), contributing to paleoclimatology research focused on past climate reconstruction. She is currently a technician in the Geochemistry and Pollution Group at IDAEA-CSIC. Her work focuses on assessing human exposure to a wide range of persistent and emerging organic contaminants and their potential impacts on human health.
